THOMAS P. TURNER
Executive Director of the American Bonanza Society Air Safety Foundation
Thomas P. Turner is an ATP, CFI, CFII and MEI and has been actively instructing for over 36 years. He is in his 21st year as Executive Director of the American Bonanza Society Air Safety Foundation. After hours he runs Mastery Flight Training, Inc. as a flight instructor, author and lecturer, and is best know for his FLYING LESSONS Weekly blog.
Tom holds a Masters Degree in Aviation Safety and has authored six books and over 1500 published articles on flying safety and pilot technique. He was the 2008 FAA Central Region Flight Instructor of the Year and 2010 National FAA Safety Team Representative of the Year. In 2015 Tom was inducted into the Flight Instructor Hall of Fame. Tom lives in The Air Capital—Wichita, Kansas.
